How payouts work

Marquee uses a rolling reserve so you can use your money before your event, while still keeping a safety net for refunds and chargebacks.

  • 70% on request. Once a sale has settled, 70% of it (after the platform fee) becomes available. Request a payout from your dashboard whenever you need it for deposits, vendors or venues.
  • 30% held. The other 30% is held as a reserve to cover refunds, cancellations and chargebacks.
  • Released after your event. The reserve is released 14 days after your event ends, once the event has happened and early disputes have had time to surface.

Organizers with a strong track record may qualify for a lower reserve. The reserve and release timing are shown on your dashboard for every event.

Example: you sell a $100 ticket. The platform fee is $5, leaving $95. Once the sale settles, $66.50 is available for you to request, and $28.50 is released 14 days after your event.

Payment processing

Adult and alternative events are often refused by mainstream payment processors. Marquee works with adult-friendly processors so your event won't be shut down for what it is. Processing details will be listed here once our payment partners are confirmed.
